Tongue En Casserole
1 beef tongue (cooked)
1 cup carrots (diced)
1/4 cup onion
1 cup celery (diced)
2 cups stock in which tongue was cooked
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
few grains pepper
Method
- Place tongue in casserole and cover with diced vegetables
- Add gravy prepared from liquor (liquid?), flour and seasonings
- Bake at 300 degrees F 1 hour or simmer on top of stove
