Here’s another Jello salad monstrosity. I’m sorry, but it just sounds horrible. It’s the marshmallows. My mom makes a version of this without the marshmallows and cream, just lime Jello and cottage cheese.
It’s worth noting that this is written on what appears to be a price tag or something similar. The back of this card has the name Worthing in stylized script and indicates that whatever it was is made in Hong Kong. The tag is about 3″ high by 2″ wide.
Lime Jello Salad
1 pkg Lime Jello
1 1/2 c water
whip when partially set
1 c whipped cream
1 lb cottage cheese
20 marshmallows – cut
Have used only 10 marshmallows, 1/2 c plain cream & 1/2 c mayonnaise
Yeeww, I don’t like this combination either..I guess I am a picky eater:)

I think the one Mom made had pineapple in it. Rather tasty as I remember.

I don’t like the marshmallows either. My lime jello was made with diet jello, cottage cheese, pineapple, horseradish (yes!), and was loved by almost everyone who ate it. Marshmallows in jello salad is kind of an eastern thing. I still see recipes with them included (particularly large volume recipe like you would make for a church supper.)

Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was
extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but
I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any suggestions for inexperienced blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate
it.

I don’t really have any suggestions other than be yourself. We each have our own voice and it is important to stay true to that, the vision of your blog and your goals as a blogger. Best of luck!
