This sauce is like a barbecue sauce and would definitely be good on hamburger or any other sort of beef I think. Even though it doesn’t say what to do with all the ingredients, my instinct is that you would combine all and simmer for a bit, or you would add directly to your two pounds of ground beef and simmer.
Hamburg Sauce for 2# Meat
1 large onion
1/2 clove garlic
grind (you could grind coarse in a food processor)
2 tbsp vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp salt
few shakes red pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp dry mustard
3/4 c ketchup (home made)
1/2 c tomato juice
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/4 c water to rinse drippings from pan
Why grinder or use food processor. Why not just get good hamburg? Brown the meat and dump the rest in a cook for a while – an hour, longer????
