Let’s take a look at some dinner recipes, shall we? Over the next few days I’ll post a variety of dinner entree and side dish recipes. This one sounds interesting. I don’t know if I am brave enough to try it, but it does sound sort of good in that 1975 casserole sort of way.
Hamburgers in Cheese Sauce
2 lbs gr beef
2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
12 onion slices
1 can cr of celery soup
1 t dry mustard
1/2 t Worcestershire
1/4 c chili sauce
1 1/2 c grated cheddar
12 hamburg buns
Put patties in baking dish with salt &pepper, 350 F. Top each with onion slice. Bake 20 min. Combine soup, seasonings & cheese, heat in pan til cheese is melted. When burgers are done pour off juice, add cheese sauce & bake 10 min more. Serve on bun.
