I’m not sure if I like the idea of the pineapple drop cookie or not. It might be a sweet and moist treat, or it could be awful. The front side of the card appears to be the original recipe and the back side is 1 1/2 times the original.
Pineapple Drop Cookies
1/2 c shortening
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c drained crushed pineapple
1 egg beaten
2 c sifted flour
1 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/4 t soda
1/2 c nuts
1 t vanilla
Greased baking sheet 425 F 8-10 min
4 doz yield
1 1/2 times
3/4 c shortening
3/4 c brown sugar
3/4 c white sugar
3/4 c drained crushed pineapple
2 eggs
3 c sifted flour
1 1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c nuts
1 1/2 t vanilla
** you also need 1/2 t soda
6 doz yield

I think I’ll have to agree with you on this one. I saw the title and my first thought was “eww! really? maybe…” I looks like a basic drop cookie along the lines of a chocolate chip cookie, but with pineapple. Might be deliciously different or it has serious potential to fall into the “What were they thinking?” category. I’ll let you be the brave soul who tries it first.

I think it might have a different taste and sounds deliciously different too. Its nice to see that you try your hand in different things.
