Ham loaf #3

Here is a third recipe for ham loaf, which I plan on making for dinner tonight. My mother-in-law gave me a meat grinder attachment for my Kitchenaid Stand Mixer (which is my favorite appliance ever!) and I played with it yesterday. I had a small ham, which I ground up in anticipation of some ham spread and ham loaf. I don’t have any pineapple juice so I’ll have to figure out a substitute. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Ham Loaf

3 1/2 c ground ham

2 eggs beaten

3/4 c milk

3/4 c soft bread crumbs

no salt

1/8 t pepper

Combine for top

1/4 c br sugar packed

1 t dry mustard

1/3 c pineapple juice

350 – 1 1/2 hrs

  1. 1 1/2 hours sound like a very long time to bake. But it is quite a large loaf. I did notice that the other ones also had the same bake time. Your oven is on the hot side, so be prepared to remove it early.
