Real men eat it and it’s yummy! I have always considered quiche to be a labor intensive dish, but it probably isn’t, honestly. With today’s methods, we can quickly grate cheese and shred meats. This particular recipe calls for canned meat, which is even easier if you are on a time budget. Using a premade pie shell, you can put together this quiche rather quickly and the most time will be spent on the baking of it. Enjoy!
Quiche
1 9″ unbaked pie shell
2 slices Swiss cheese
1 c half and half
1/2 c chopped spinach
2 tsp flour
1/2 c mushrooms
1/2 tsp salt
1 can turkey, chicken or ham (flaked w/ fork)
3 eggs (beaten)
1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
[Grease pie dish and line it with unbaked pie crust] Place swiss cheese on bottom of pie crust. Add spinach, mushrooms & meat. Mix next 4 ingredients [half & half, flour, salt & eggs]. Pour in pie shell. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese & bake 40-45 minutes, 350º oven.
