I intended to post this back during holiday party food, but ran out of time. Now with Easter gatherings coming up, perhaps someone would like to try this. Beau Monde is a seasoning mix which includes everything from cloves to mace, cinnamon to pepper. You can make your own, or find it in your spice section.

Rye Bread Dip (Georgia-Lou Quentin)

Use large round rye bread and slice off top – remove insides making little balls to dip in mix, fill cavity with:

1 1/3 cup sour cream

1 1/3 cup mayonnaise

2 teas dill weed

2 teas beau monde

2 tbls parsley

2 tbls onion flakes
